John’s Life through Photos

You can take a journey through John’s 91 years of life by looking through these albums of photos! They start with the Early Years, (opens in new tab) as a railwayman and then meeting and marrying Irene. With a few children turning up along the way! Then as a Music Teacher, with many images from John’s time in Sheringham High School. Church Life, focused on Knapton Methodist Church and his love of being organist! The album ‘Chatty Man’ celebrates John’s love of chatting to folks, wherever they are, at the Sainsbury’s check-out or on holiday in France. Unexpected Holidays, such as New York and the empire state building! Family Times, with David and Colin and their families and friends. North Walsham and his love of this small friendly market town that he grew up in and lived in for half his life. There are photos of the shops he visited and many folks who would say hi! Finally, the Care Home and Solihull Year, a tougher time but still filled with memorable moments, enjoying the green spaces, feeding the chickens and counting ducks to list a few.
